Our School

Who We Are:

Northpoint Elementary School is part of the Penn-Harris-Madison School Corporation, which is recognized as the premier school district in northern Indiana with a reputation for excellence. P-H-M is among Indiana’s top performing public school corporations, ranking in the Top 4% of ILEARN student performance and Penn High School’s graduation rate is 97.3%.

97.1% of Northpoint third graders passed IREAD in 2025, up from 95.4% in 2024.

Out of Indiana public schools that passed both English Language Arts (ELA) and Math, Northpoint also ranks in the Top 10 in the state for the Spring 2025 ILEARN assessment, as released by the Indiana Department of Education (IDOE).

Northpoint earned STEM Certification in 2025; the IDOE recognized our school and teachers’ commitment to creating stimulating STEM learning environments. Click here for more information.

All of these reasons and many more are why Northpoint earned the distinction of being ranked Indiana’s #1 for Public Elementary Schools by U.S. News & World Report (Data is based on the 2021–2022, 2022–2023 and 2023–2024 school years) Click here to learn more.

Our compassionate and engaged teachers participate in ongoing professional development to continually strengthen their instructional practices. This commitment ensures students receive high-quality instruction in a supportive and responsive learning environment.

We are a 1:1 Technology district, which means that every student at Northpoint, as well as every student in the P-H-M school district, has access to their own Chromebook that they use every day in the classroom (kindergartners use iPads).

We are the Stars and our school colors are navy blue, silver, and white. Our students live up to STARS expectations: Safe, Trustworthy, Accountable, and Respectful.
